Autobiography
My name is Jasmyne Wilson and I graduated from Bevill State Community College with my Associates' in Applied Science in Early Childhood Education. I am currently seeking my B.A degree in Early Childhood Education to better myself. I have been a teacher at Head start for 6 years starting off as a substitute and landing a position as a teacher 2 years later. Also, I am very passionate about what I do as a teacher. I am always finding different ways to teach children to make learning more enjoyable.
Career Goals
My career goals for working in the field is to grow and enhance my knowledge. Also, my goals are to learn as much as possible and meet new people in the field that can push me to become successful.
Preferred Age Group
The age group I prefer range from 6weeks to three years old. I love how children are like sponges and can learn so much through the way you teach. In addition, because this age group is so young I will make sure that I follow the standards as guidance on what makes a healthy and safe and age appropriate environment that encourages children’s development of healthy and safe habits (Caring for Our Children: National Health and Safety Performance Standards. 2011).
